Brad had been invited to a going away party for one of his friends. Pete was going off to college and it was going to be a big deal with lots of people, lots of drinking and no parents. Brad's girlfriend Courtney wasn't going, she had made plans with some of her friends so Brad was going stag.

When he arrived at Pete's house the party was already in full swing. Brad went to the front door and was greeted by loud music and a houseful of people. He squeezed by several people and found Pete surrounded by a group of people downing a full glass.

Once Pete had it emptied the people cheered and began striking up conversations amongst themselves. Brad went up to Pete and they exchanged hello's and congrats. They ended up by the bar and Steve put a margarita in Brad's hand. Pete noticed a couple of girls he liked and so he excused himself to go say hi to them.

Brad sipped the drink, enjoying the warmth as it hit his stomach. He mingled talking to friends from school, discussing their futures and joking about times at high school. He ended up leaning against a wall enjoying the warm effects of the margarita. As he watched the party around him Wendy walked up to him holding a cup of frozen margarita.
