I was working in my office one late morning, concentrating on some paperwork, when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said loudly enough to be heard.

The door opened, and my secretary, Miss Allen, peeked from behind it.

"Sir, your ten o'clock appointment with the lady journalist is a few minutes away. She's waiting," Ms. Allen reminded me. Ms. Allen had informed me three days ago that the local newspaper was interested in interviewing me. I own a travel agency, and, as Ms. Allen had informed me, the newspaper was interested in reporting on how small businesses in our city are coping in the current economic situation. I had been so absorbed in my work, I had forgotten about the appointment, until Ms. Allen had reminded me. I neatly stacked some paperwork I was working on, and put it on one side of my desk. I straightened out my crimson-colored necktie, and instinctively ran my fingers on my clean-shaven face.

"Send her in," I said, satisfied that I looked presentable.

"He's ready," Miss Allen said, as she looked down the hallway leading to my office door. My jaw must have dropped, as I watched my wife Kristi walk in. It was her... or some twin sister that she had hidden away for as long as I've known her. ...
