Brock and Melody had traveled to a sales conference Melody was attending. They had checked into the hotel where the small meeting was being held and had taken their things to their room. There were lots of other attendees at the hotel. Most were older stuffy business types.

They arrived late at night, but neither of them were tired. Melody wanted to read to get caught up on some of the topics that would be discussed at the conference. Brock decided to head down to the gym and run some energy off on a treadmill.

At nearly midnight, there was no one in the small gym. Brock walked over to the treadmill, set his water bottle down in the cup holder of the treadmill and stepped up onto the track. He started off slow but quickly was nearly maxing the machine out. He kept glancing at the glass door to make sure no one was coming.

After about 20 minutes of running he slowed it down to a walk. After another 10 minutes of walking, he was still wide awake. So he sped it back up to a good run and after a few minutes a text popped up on his phone.

He slowed it back to walk and picked up his phone. It was from Melody's number and just said, "Meet me at the hot tub."

That sounded like fun. He stopped the machine and stepped off. He left ...
