Very sporadically. Just eleven stories testify to Jayson's ability to weave a hot tale, with some years passing by without a word. But sooner or later, a new story appears and I promise you, it's worth the wait.
So, tell us something about yourself.
A: My name is Jayson and I live in the Washington DC/Baltimore areA: I'm in my early 30s, married and I make my living as a photographer... although not the kind of photography you might expect considering I spend my free time writing sex stories. It's much more conservative than that!
Q: Tell us how and why you began writing erotic stories?
A: It really was a natural progression for me. Ever since I can remember I've always really enjoyed reading erotic stories. Even as an adolescent when my friends and I were first discovering dirty magazines I found myself drawn just as much to the letters and stories as I was to the actual pictures. So as I grew up and found that I had a passion for writing, creating my own erotic stories was kind of inevitable I suppose.
Q: Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?
A: No. I'm not opposed to the idea, I just haven't had much experience reading other sites. ES.com has always been a good outlet for me.
Q: What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?
A: As a reader, I tend to crave details and character development. It doesn't have to be extensive, just something to make me connect to the character so that they feel real to me. The more I can connect with the character and the plot, the more likely I am to be turned on when the most erotic moments happen.
The same is true when I'm writing. Being able to, hopefully, create a story like that is what I enjoy the most... Nothing is cooler for me than getting a message from a reader saying that they want me to continue with the story or character I have just written about.
Q: What is your favorite category to write in, and why?
A: Oh wow, that's a hard question to answer. I really love older women/younger man, interracial, adultery... basically anything where lines get crossed is fun to write.
Q: How much of yourself do you include in your stories?
A: It varies. If I had to estimate I'd say I'm probably the protagonist in half my stories. But of course, even when I'm not a direct part of the story my sexual fantasies and turn-on's are very much present. I have a big thing for women who smoke and so a lot of my stories will have some sort of smoking, although I do try to limit that because I know it's not everyone's thing.
I like women who are very confident in their sexuality as well. That's a big turn on for me and many of the women in my stories tend to have that attribute. Those themes are a part of me and tend to be present in everything I write.
Q: Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?
A: Not at all... Nobody knows I write here. I don't think there would be any objections but I would feel quite naked if people I knew had access into my little sexual world.
Q: Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?
A: I guess the smoking fetish would qualify. There is something about a woman with big full lips puffing away that really gets me excited. I used to have a "friends-with-benefits" who smoked in a really sensual way and every time we were together I would think about how sexy she was when she smoked, but I never got the nerve to bring my fetish up with her. I kick myself every time I think back to her.
Smoking is sexy! Especially while giving a blowjob... cocks are so sexy when they're wreathed in smoke. I've never had anyone complain about the health risks, either. At least in that situation....
A: Wow... that would pretty much complete my fantasy list. A smoking blowjob from Naughty Miranda!
Q: How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?
A: I really enjoy all the feedback I get, positive and negative. I've had really good discussions with readers who didn't like a particular aspect of something I wrote or had a suggestion for something I could improve on. Any constructive comment is welcome.
I've had some really good crazy messages sent to me as well and that's always entertaining. There used to be a guy who would write me to say my female characters were going to die of AIDS every time I wrote an interracial story. Now obviously, getting racist messages isn't cool, but when it's so irrational and bizarre you can't help but laugh a little and move on.
How about you? Do you ever get any really crazy messages?
Q: Not sure if this counts as crazy, but I do seem to attract people who really hate oral sex stories, but always remember to give me a low vote when I post one, then write and tell me that blowjobs and pussy-eating are boring. I often wonder what they would prefer to be reading about in the Oral Sex category?
So, do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?
A: I always vote on the stories I enjoy. I don't tend to write messages to other writers though and I'm not really sure why. As much as I enjoy feedback I probably should make an effort to give some when I like a story.
As far as favorites, as I told you when you asked me about this interview, you are certainly one of my favorites. They're always so well crafted that I enjoy them even when the subject matter might not be an initial turn on for me. I also love JenniferO. I'm thrilled she's been writing again. I try to keep up with all the stories the two of you write, although lately you've been writing them faster than I can read them, so I have some catching up to do!
Q: What is a major turn on for you during sex?
A: It's all about confidence for me. I love promiscuous women... Some guys have insecurities about women with a long sexual history but I'm not one of them. I like a woman whose tried things, knows what she likes, and is willing to be adventurous. And that's all about security and confidence.
I also love women who will talk dirty... Of course the better the dirty talk the quicker I tend to cum so it does have its drawbacks. But nothing is hotter to me than a woman who talks a good game.
Q: How about a major turn off?
A: Partners who don't communicate or don't feel confident enough in their sexuality to say what they like or what they want.
Q: How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?
A: It tends to take me a while if I'm going to right a quality story. I've found that the stuff I really feel good about were the stories I took my time on. I like to develop an outline or synopsis of how I want the story to go and then I go and fill in the details from there.
Sometimes I'll get an idea of a single scene and I'll build the story around that moment but for the most part I use an outline. If I start writing without knowing where the story will go it tends to turn into a mess.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...
A: I'd just like to say thank you... Thanks for taking the time to read this interview. Thanks for taking the time to read my stories. I've be fortunate enough to get a lot of good feedback from readers and I hope that trend continues. At the moment I have a bunch of stories that are in varying degrees of completion so I'm really looking to sharing them with everyone.
