Q. How long have you been publishing at ES?
A. Since September 2011
Q. What and when was the first story you published here?
A. The Weekend I learned to Tune a Twinkie, September 5, 2011
Q. How many stories have you published since then?
A. Fifty four
Q. What was your most recent one?
A. My Brilliant Precocious yet Alluring Daughter
Q. To begin with, what can you tell us about yourself? Three or four points that will help your fans get to know you a little better
A. I'm retired from the financial services industry, age 78 and speeding toward 79, a college grad, who writes mysteries and uses Erotic Stories to clear my mind when I bog down.
Q. Tell us about your first truly memorable and exciting erotic experience - who was it with, what did you think, what did you do?
A. It was in October 1950 just before Halloween, with a school cheerleader at her home in the living room on the couch, and all while her Mother ironed in the next room and kept talking to us throughout the entire scary, nervous, and unsatisfying episode. I never went back! Too nerve wracking.
Q. What do you look for in a lover... and what do you look for in a one-night stand?
A. At my age, I would look for one still breathing without plastic tubes in her nose. Shed a tear for me as those days are over and even the memories have faded. My last one-night stand happened in Hartford, Connecticut in September 1986. My last true lover was in 1988. I'm settled in with my spouse now and my excitement comes from making it through the night without a bathroom trip..
Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done? And what did you think about it afterwards?
A. Assisted in arranging a young hooker over the face of a sleeping friend, using a horn blaster to wake him and watch him stick his nose in her, throw her off to the floor and chase us down the street while he was still naked. We thought it was a great trick, he didn't speak or associate with us for a month.
Q. What is the strangest place you have ever had sex?
A. In the cheerleader's living room with her Mother talking to us. Nothing could top that for me.
Q. Big tits or small? Legs or ass?
A. Tits are just fat globs, it's ass for me. I'm a left cheek specialist.
Q. Have you ever met a girl who couldn't fit your cock in her mouth? What did you do instead?
A. No,. all the women I've ever met had big mouths.
Q. Tell us some of your sexual preferences.
A. Doggy style is the favorite, holding my balls is preferable, and handjobs are a delight.
Q. When you began writing erotic stories -and why?
A. September 2011. I read about a hidden nudist colony that operated as a private club in Arkansas where it was prohibited. I thought a story about it would be accepted.
Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?
A. You can do most whatever you want without the restraints society imposes on regular writing. However, the new rules regarding the kind of language we can use is putting a damper on our ability to fashion a story. Use any of George Carlin's Seven Words in any way you want and all is okay, but don't describe someone as being so beautiful that she is [mesmerizing] to behold.
Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?
A. My novel editor does and is pleased since it gives one practice in sentence and word formation. My handyman does also as I give him copies to keep tol keep his hand handy.
Q. What is your favorite category to write in, and why?
A. Most of mine is straight and/or threesome as it is in line with my own life experiences.
Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?
A. Maybe twenty-five percent although I certainly wish it could have been more. Remember, I grew up in the prudish age--only twin beds in movies, no bathrooms on TV, Hell was worth a fine and penalty, and women still wore panty girdles all day long. Thee was no Birth Control pills, no morning after, and girls were guarded by their daddy's with shotguns where I grew up. A quick good night kiss at the door was all that could be expected. Try to get your hand under a tight panty girdle---lose a finger!
Q. I love stories set in that era... there is something so exciting about the sheer illegality of it all. Outlaw sex! Okay, is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?
A. Pick a story, pick an event, and whichever one you pick would be the one I would love to try again (and again, and again, and again!). I'm resigned to the fact it will not be in the cards for me.
Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Have you ever gone further and started IMing, texting or even met any of your fans?
A. I haven't found that to be true unfortunately. I think I have good plot lines, good characters, good descriptions, interesting sex scenes, but I don't have much of a fan base and that's been disappointing. In fact, so discouraging to the point that I thought about a 'Swan Song' story in the next month or so.
Q. Don't. People are just slow to pick up on writers, sometimes. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?
A. I welcome strong, honest critiques as my editor says, "It aids in your growth as a storyteller." Remember, she doesn't edit my ES stories--only knows that I do them..
Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?
A. I'm Rethinking My Aversion to Mall Shopping. But my most popular series was: 'The Discovery that College Classes were Paid with Asses" followed by my Art and Markey Series.
Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...
A. I just wonder how many ES Authors received the E-Mails from Art about words that can no longer be used? And then, I'd like to know if they are wary of writing any other words that may also come under the same dictate?
Q. We all did, and I think a few of us have responded with postings on our own blogs and other websites. You won't find anybody who feels happy about the situation, but it's something we have to live with, unfortunately. And it could be worse. Imagine if those Seven Words were banned as well! But talking of websites, do you have one of your own where your fans can visit and maybe learn more about you?
A. Nope, no Web Site and no Blogs, but anyone that wants can reach me at my regular e-mail address at anytime they feel like talking.
And thanks for the invitation and the opportunity to say a few words.
