In this interview you are actually getting a two for one deal. It wasn't until I choose BlueDragon that I found out that he also writes under a different name as well. Not only was BlueDragon answering our questions but at the same time so was Azn Playa. Read on to find out about BlueDragon and why he also started using the Azn Playa name.

Tell us about you:

Question: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let's call it a short bio.

Bluedragon: On the net I just go by my initials -b.d.-. I'm just a tick past the quarter-century mark and have been married for two years now. Ethnically, I'm Chinese. But I was born in America and I'm pretty much as Americanized as Asian people can get.

Question: What are you wearing right now?

Bluedragon: Actually, I'm still dressed from work. Button-down dress shirt, tie, black slacks. Young corporate manager by day, author of erotica by night.

Question: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does he/she think?

Bluedragon: My wife knows I write and is fully supportive as long as it doesn't take up too much time away from her. She's rather proud of my success and just wishes I'd find a way to make money doing it.

Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Bluedragon: Not at all. Writing is purely a hobby and I can go months without ever writing a thing. But when the right idea comes to me, it becomes a project that I want to continually work on in whatever free time I have. Still, my wife and my job easily come first.

Question: How did you come up with your ES nickname?

Bluedragon: The Blue originated from the idea of a "blue" movie as an erotic movie. The Dragon is partly because I wanted something to represent my Asian heritage, and partly because I just think Dragons are cool.

Question: How (and why) did you come up with your second ES nickname, Azn Playa?

Bluedragon: After my initial forays into writing (like Tennis Match and the first two parts of Sorority House), I began writing more complex storylines with romantic entanglements and angst over the fine line between sex and love. While I loved writing those stories, I started to put pressure on myself to duplicate the same plot-quality in each successive story. I felt like readers started to have certain expectations of what a "bluedragon" story was. And I wanted to write a few "less serious" stories.

The first story I wrote after deciding to have more fun and less romance was the story called "aZN PLaYa". For the first time in years, I posted Part 1 without knowing how the story would end or what I'd be writing for Part 3. And rather than give readers the expectation of a "bluedragon" story, I decided to post as "Azn Playa". I think the name represents the different attitude of the plotlines.

Question: What brought you to EroticStories.com? What made you want to stay and become a part of it?

Bluedragon: A former college roommate of mine and his girlfriend (now wife) were fans of the site and recommended it to me. I was reading stories for a year or two on a regular basis before I got it in my head to write a story of my own. That was it. Just a desire to try it out for myself and get feedback from the anonymous internet. That first ever story was part 1 of "Tennis Match", although I have since gone back and re-written it.

Question: What is your favorite part of your body? Why?

Bluedragon: My shoulders. I was a year-round swimmer growing up, so it gave me a rather broad set of shoulders. I've also got a really thin waist so I ended up with that upside-down triangle torso. Just makes me feel more like a man.

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?

Bluedragon: I would love to have naturally blue eyes. Can you imagine an Asian guy with naturally blue eyes? Or maybe an Asian guy with naturally blue eyes and a sexy European accent?

Question: Boxers vs Briefs? / Panties vs Thong?

Bluedragon: Boxers. Free air instead of tight constriction. For girls, both are great. Thongs are just nicer for asscheek access. But a cellulite ass in a thong is just plain scary.

Writing Habits:

Question: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Bluedragon: Writing turns ME on. And getting positive feedback for something you created is quite possibly the best high imaginable.

Question: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

Bluedragon: I started in 2001 I think with part 1 of "Tennis Match". It got started because of a fantasy I had for a threesome. Originally, I just wanted to get it down on paper and then use it to fuel my imagination. It was purely a whim to post the darn thing.

Question: What categories are most of your stories in? What kind would you never write?

Bluedragon: Most everything falls into a threesome or group category. It's every guy's fantasy to have multiple girls. And you need at least 3 people to have the kind of romantic tension I like the most. Now I rather doubt I'll ever write a Masturbation category. Sex is just so much more fun with another person involved.

Question: Which of your stories is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

Bluedragon: My personal favorite is "Everybody Comes to Hollywood." It started out as one idea, but then the characters just started writing themselves. In retrospect, I'm quite pleased to involve so many different characters and blend them together against a larger backdrop. It just seems so much more involving than the typical 2-person sex story.

And the story closest to me is "Kinda-Sorta-Maybe Nerd-Boy." That one drew the most from my own personal experience. And for every naysayer who says the story is unrealistic because a short nerd can't become popular and get his dreamgirl: well, I'm living proof that it's possible.

Question: Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate? What story was it?

Bluedragon: All of them!

Question: Do you write from fantasy or true stories? Or a combination of both? Please explain or give an example.

Bluedragon: All of my stories are fantasy. The characters, the situations, the plotlines, all made up. Real life never quite ends as neatly as my stories might. However, personalities, emotions, and even specific plot points are culled from my own personal experience.

Question: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?

Bluedragon: The characters, like the stories, are fantasy. On some level, if I wanted ordinary, unattractive people, I'd walk out my front door. However, at least half of the characters are modeled around a real person, either familiar to me or famous. Their personalities and the way they react are based around my perception of how they as a real person might react (well, plus a healthy dose of nymphomania). And I almost always visualize a real physical woman for each female character (i.e. an acquaintance, a girl from America's Next Top Model, or an internet model, etc.)

Question: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?

Bluedragon: The narrator is always based on me and the way I perceive the world. Sometimes these main characters edge towards my more outgoing personality. Sometimes they edge towards my more introspective personality. I am a Gemini after all. But they always react in a way consistent with how I personally might react in a given situation.

Question: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?

Bluedragon: Be a better lover. I think every guy wishes they were better at sex, no matter how good you get. How awesome would it be for everyone involved if I could make a girl cum in two minutes flat?

Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

Bluedragon: A complete story, well, MONTHS. The longest I've ever written in one sitting was probably 4 hours. And in that time I was able to finish half of one part. I usually write in bursts of 1 hour at a time, and it's not that regular. Usually one full part will take me 3 weeks-ish to finish. I'll admit that my best stories finish rather quickly.

If you look at a lot of serial stories, individual parts are posted weeks to months apart from each other. I just sit on them until I'm finished with all 3 or all 4 parts, and then post the complete story together. This allows me to go back and edit Part 1 or Part 2 before I'm done. And every now and again, I give up on a story and return to it maybe six months later when I know how I want to end it.

Question: How do you come up with your story titles?

Bluedragon: I'm not sure. Sometimes I try to pick something descriptive which will explain the entire story in a short phrase, like "Two Guys and a Sorority House". Other times I'm just inspired by something around me, like Madonna's famous line "Everybody Comes to Hollywood".

Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

Bluedragon: Ending it. Starting a story is easy. But too many serial stories on the net just taper off and go nowhere. You look up at the end of Part 4 and realize it's been over a year since this was posted, and there's no Part 5 in sight. Except for the Azn Playa experiment, I always made sure to finish a story before posting anything. And now with the way "aZN PLaYa" and "Ultimate Playboy" ended (which I'm not too happy about I might add), I seriously doubt I'll ever try that again. Too many things can go wrong and you write yourself off a cliff without a planned ahead structure. It's like a TV show that just dies after a few seasons because even the writers don't know what to do with it anymore.

Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn't have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?

Bluedragon: No. I just go off my own memories and knowledge.

Question: Do you have any secret stories you don't want to publish for the public? Do you publish your stories on other sites besides EroticStories.com and if so, why? Have you ever been published on paper?

Bluedragon: Everything I write is for posting. And up until recently, everything was posted solely on Eroticstories. At the request of some fans, and my own recent discovery of the site, I just starting reposting some of my older stories on Literotica. However, I fully intend to make Eroticstories my exclusive "first look" and wait several months before reposting on any other sites. Just a personal loyalty. And no, never paper-published (yet!).

Question: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

Bluedragon: It depends on the comment. Sometimes its unsubstantiated bashing. For example, I used to get hate mail about being racist and pairing up white male characters with Asian girls. But I never specify the race of the main character, and I myself am Asian. So whenever I read the story, it's an Asian guy and an Asian girl.

But any rationally thought out constructive criticism is always welcome. Sometimes I keep it in mind. Other times it is a style recommendation that just isn't me. I don't let it hinder who I am as a writer.

Reading Habits:

Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies?

Bluedragon: I love reading. I probably read something at least a few times a week. And like my writing style, I enjoy reading threesome, group, etc. And possibly because of my own age, I like reading about younger people (pre-30s.)

Question: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do?

Bluedragon: I pretty much give 10s when I like them and don't vote otherwise unless I really, really hate it. Some people vote objectively (i.e. perfect is 10, almost perfect is 9, etc.). But me, I vote based on how I want that story to perform. For example, if a story is currently at 9.48 and I give it a 9, I'm actually voting the story DOWN, decreasing its average. I don't like doing that to another author. So I'd just skip it. But if I want to vote it UP, I'll give it a 10.

Question: Do you send other author's comments or feedback on their stories?

Bluedragon: Frequently. Most of the time it's just a thank you or a pat on the back. Coming up with constructive criticism is harder than writing a story from scratch. But it's good to let someone know that their work is appreciated.

Question: Do you have a favorite author on ES? What makes them your favorite?

Bluedragon: There are a few that I love. They're on my favorite authors list, but I don't think it's fair to name names.

Question: When you read a story do you: A. Touch yourself and come around the same time one of the characters do? B. Touch yourself but wait for the end to come? C. Touch yourself but wait until after you finish the story to come, such as after going to bed? D. Not touch yourself until you are finished and then continue thinking about the story and come? E. Any other variation you may do? (please tell us what it is)

Bluedragon: "B", wait til the end. But if a story is really, really good, I can't help myself and "A" ends up happening on occasion. =)

Sex Habits:

Question: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, any favorites?

Bluedragon: Strangely enough, I'm not that into porn. I'll watch the occasional 15-second clip on the net, but I'm not into DVDs or videos or anything. On the other hand, I do like pictures. They're really great for helping me visualize a character. Sometimes a person is so much more beautiful as a static photograph than actually giving them the opportunity to move and stick their foot in their mouth (figuratively).

Question: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw? Tell us about it?

Bluedragon: Hm, I think Embrace of the Vampire (Alyssa Milano) was the closest I got. I had pretty strict parents, and it was on Showtime or something. I'm young enough that I didn't know who Alyssa Milano was at the time. My first lesbian fantasy came from that movie.

Question: Have you ever participated in erotic photography? If so, please tell us about it. If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer?

Bluedragon: No.

Question: What do you wear to bed?

Bluedragon: Just my boxers. We (wife and I) used to go nude, but I felt dirty if I had to go to the bathroom and didn't want to stain the sheets or anything.

Question: Do your sex life and writing have any correlation with each other??

Bluedragon: Quite a bit. But for the privacy of my wife I'll not go into further details. You might notice that with a few "no comments" further down.

Question: How would you rate your willingness to try new things in bed?

Bluedragon: If it can get me arrested, I probably not into it. But as long as the woman (women?) and I are willing, almost anything is worth trying once.

Question: What's the kinkiest thing you have done in your life?

Bluedragon: no comment.

Question: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

Bluedragon: no comment.

Question: What is your opinion about sex toys? Do you have any toys yourself and if so, do you like to use them?

Bluedragon: Toys are great if you like them. But my wife and I don't use toys, apart from the occasional improvised handkerchief to tie someone down with. Human beings are toys enough when it comes to sex.

Question: What do you think about solo sex?

Bluedragon: Verrry nice stress reliever. But a partner (or three) is WAY more fun.

Question: What are your favorite and least favorite positions?

Bluedragon: Favorite is the girl on top. Wonderful visuals and easy access to BOOBS. Least favorite is anything where you have to strain your muscles and get worn out just to trying to maintain the position.

Question: Do you believe in one-night stands?

Bluedragon: No. Sex always means more to me than that, even if it's not a permanent romantic thing. However, I'd be fine with a 3-night stand. At least you're coming back for more.

Question: What makes someone sexy to you?

Bluedragon: Open-mindedness, nice tits, and a sharp enough verbal intellect to keep up with me.

Question: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Bluedragon: Audio. Hearing a girl moan is better than a lifetime supply of Viagra.

Question: What is a major turn off for you during sex?

Bluedragon: The moment the girl isn't into it anymore. If she ever gets bored of it and just starts waiting for it to be over with. I lose my erection in half a second. Not every sexual encounter ends with fantastic orgasms.

Question: Sextalk. Do you like or dislike talking during sex?

Bluedragon: Slightly hypocritically, I like hearing a girl talk. But I'm not much of a talker. You'll see that in my stories too. The girls talk, the guys just grunt.

Question: In bed or on the kitchen table?

Bluedragon: In bed. Kitchen table is nice on occasion for a quickie. But you can never go wrong with a bed.

Question: What is your favorite or most memorable moment in bed?

Bluedragon: no comment.

And Last but not least...

Question: You are on both the "Top 100 best scoring authors with more than 5 stories online, and an average vote higher than 9.0" and the "Top 100 favourite authors" lists. How does it feel to know you have 139 people that have added 'Bluedragon' to their favorites and that 97 have added 'Azn Playa' to their favorites?**

Bluedragon: Wow... I'm really happy. It's extremely gratifying to know people like my work.

Question: Also how does it feel to be at the very top of the "best scoring author" list with an average vote of 9.60 for all of your stories for Bluedragon?**

Bluedragon: (pause to calm down my ego)... I'm happy to be doing so well, but at the same time I KNOW I can do better. So I think it's in everyone's best interest if inspiration strikes and I come up with the next Greatest Story Ever!

Question: Is there anybody on this site, who you would like to see interviewed? Why?

Bluedragon: I'm going to be diplomatic and not single out any one author.

Question: Do you notice any differences between the "younger" writers on here, and between the "older writers" of this site?

Bluedragon: Generally speaking, the "older" writers have more thought out plotlines and better character development. However, the "younger" writers have the more exciting "group" and "threesome" fantasies. I read both, depending on my mood.

Question: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Bluedragon: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, and did I mention Thank you!
