The singularly named Lover has been publishing on eroticstories.com since January 2008, where he has posted thirteen stories, including several that amount to small novels. So let's begin by asking... Who is Lover - is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

I am a fairly private person, so I can only tell you about my writing. I love clean sex and satisfying a wholesome woman. After that, I want to satisfy myself completely and until I am done. Writing these past experiences down does something for me. It helps me remember those sweet secretions of a woman, who has just orgasmed. To re-live and capture those experiences on paper, does a lot for me over and over again. For example, a woman feels hotter to me when she is extremely wet and is emotionally "open". Q. How and when did you begin writing erotic stories?

I just started at the end of 2007. I was looking for some good erotic reading on line one day. After reading several stories on "EroticStories.com", as well as on a few others sites, but they didn't satisfy me completely. I was somewhat disappointed in many of them. Some stories were coarse, degrading, debasing and sick or poorly written. But everyone likes their own types of stories. There were a few of them however that motivated me to write my own. I started looking for the best ones and found a few authors that I thought were quite good. I wasn't getting off on most of the other stories though and decided to try writing and entertaining myself from my own experiences. I actually got off reading my own stuff and decided to see of others would like my style of writing. My almost first story, "Innocence Worth Waiting For", turned me on after I wrote it. I played it back on a text-to-voice program and it was even better that way. That text to voice software really helped me debug my own stories, as well as heightened my own senses, which got me off even better. I have played others stories from ES with that same software.

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

I have published many of the same stories on "The Masque", which I was invited to publish on. However, my original stories have always gotten published on "EroticStories.com" first. I have actually written 23 stories. Only 13 of my best are on ES. I also liked ES's challenge of trying to hit a 9.5 rating level or better. Most of my stories started out there but my average rating today is only 9.47, which I consider still quite good. I have been as high as 8th in the top 100 authors. The 9.47 rating right now is because I let a few, "not so good" stories by others rating ride...or stay on ES.

I am ranked currently 16th or 17th. That is because I liked some of those old stories, which I left on ES that had lower ratings because of one unjust very low rating. I just never had time to go back and edit them and improve on them. I was too busy writing new stuff. My stories are quite long, which was mentioned previously. Many of them have more complex plots...I guess that is why.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

Most of my stories are 80-90% factual from my own experiences and the rest are 10-20% fiction to improve on the story. Stories like "Tomboy" and "Blonde v/s Brunettes" were 100% live experience stories. I have a few science-fiction stories with 50% factual sex. The remaining 50% are obviously sci-fi, like "Push the Button" and "Way Too Perfect".

I have been around a few years, so I am not an "inexperienced" lover. My training came from a senior girl in college that really taught me how to satisfy a woman. She was the closest I ever come in finding a nymphomaniac. The good thing about this girl was that she was very selective with her lovers. When it comes to having good sex and knowing how to completely satisfy a woman first is a fact. I became quite a good LOVER over time. Thus, I decided to take on the pen-name "LOVER". My approximate 300 fans think I am a pretty good writer...both male and female. I try to live up to my name as...LOVER in my writing.

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

Imagination, plus I love and enjoy sex. Writing expands my erotic feelings personally. There is no limit to what you can do in your own mind and then try to translate and put it down on paper. There are no limits to what one can envision in their mind, especially with the types of women that I have seen and imagined and then described in readable text. I can take the perfect parts of different women, that I have seen or loved, and combine their best parts to make an incredible woman on paper. I am talking about...beautiful faces, long and short hair, eyebrows, necks...I love necks. Those small fine hairs on a woman's body and skin...I love those even more.

I love legs and how they join with a woman's incredible round-tight ass. I also love black hair...silky long black hair...especially if that woman's pussy is adorned with little curls that extend down and around to their cute puckered ass holes. Breasts are also amazing to feel, kiss, and shapes and small sizes, if they have perfect shape, really turns me on. That is the most difficult part of writing...to paint a picture with enough description to give someone exactly what you saw in their own minds. Sexual satisfaction is 90% in ones mind anyway...the rest is feelings.

Q. A lot of your stories appear in the Threesomes and group Sex categories. What is it about these sections that you like?

As I have said previously, I love women...blondes, brunettes, red heads...and black haired women especially. I like variety in women, so I combine more than one woman in some of my stories. I write a lot of one-on-ones because I like innocent slow built-up sex. I love romantic sex and gentle love making. Most women love slow speed and atmosphere to peak their best orgasms. As a man, I could drop my drawers and go to it from just seeing a woman's incredible appearance alone. But, attacking a 'dormant' clitoris just doesn't work with most women. A woman's need to be slowly built up and that law must be obeyed.

Now, sex with more than one woman delays the others satisfaction sharing one man, enhances the other woman's need. I liked the idea that there is a little competition between the women. In some stories, the women have been satisfied completely and they know they can get that satisfaction again at any time because of what they had experienced with a specific man. It motivates them to deliver more satisfaction back when there is some competition. It gets them hornier if they see some other woman getting satisfied thoroughly and they are not part of it. It gets them hotter, hornier and ready. They deliver even more to become a favorite. It also gives the man more attention...one woman on his penis, another working on his prostate or other parts of him. In turn, the man can orally work on one woman and manually stimulate another.

Multiplicity with sex partners in writing intensifies everyone's enjoyment in these stories. The unfortunate part of multiple female partners is I probably loose some of the female readers...I think. But men get off even better with more than one woman. It is a trade off. I should probably stick to innocent sex, one-on-ones for a better ES rating...but again...I am writing first for my own enjoyment. Those that like group or innocent sex can read it and others can look elsewhere for my one-on-ones.

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

Well, there are some things I won't do and that is having anal sex with another man or vice versa. I have had two women that really loved me and an opportunity came up that I was able to make love to both of them at the same time. In real life, this is more difficult to experience unless you are not worried about diseases and very loose women. I like cleaner women.

Some of my group stories tended to have multiple women in them. However, the tendency for 2 or 3 women to interact cordially with each other doesn't normally happen, unless maybe they start out as lesbians. Natural sex (woman and man) is still my preference. I had those two women who worked on me at one time, and they both loved me. That was one of the sweetest times yet one of the stickiest times in my life. I lost both women. They were in heavy competition for my sexual agility with them. I could completely satisfy each of them. Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

No one knows that I write erotically who is close to me, either friend or family. They would restrict my creation too much. I have to keep an open mind and have the freedom to get new ideas. It is also erotic to me that they don't know. I experiment in reality when I have ideas to give me the details I need to write or expand on new ideas.

Q. How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world's" perception of erotic writing?

All people have biases and different ideas about sex and morality. I don't want others to make me live under their rules. I have my own morals and they have theirs. I don't mess around with other wives/women and am faithful to my wife now. I had my experienced in High School and College and in the Navy.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

I have a lot of fans (294 +/-) that want to read what I write...I believe. Even in my Science Fiction, I have come up with tools or machines that are very inviting to my fans/readers. They wish they had some of those things (so do I). Like in "Push the Button" or "Deluxe Glory Hole". These are some neat toys or tools to insure complete sexual satisfaction. Or, to have the perfect robot...the perfect masturbator...like in "Way Too Perfect".

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

It hacks me off of course...but I know one very low rating is usually from jealousy or stupidity. A few of the very low ratings could be from authors that wish they could write like I can or I am causing them to get lower ratings. I would hope that it is not an ES author, but it probably is.

However, a 5 or 6 may be justified because everyone has their likes and dislikes and some people just don't like wholesome sex or a poke at homosexuality...or whatever is bugging them. But when I am getting predominant 10s and 9s, and then someone gives me a 3, 4, or even 5, I know the high numbers wipe them out. However, these are unjustified in most cases. It would be better that they didn't vote because a "0" will wipe out a good average. But some few low rating has probably prevented me from staying in the 9.5+ category. But hell, I write for my own enjoyment and for others that like what I am writing...to hell with those who think they are helping themselves because it all comes back to them and bites them on their ass.

Q. What kind of stories would you never write?

I would never write stories that have brutality to a woman or those with bondage, or with whips, chains, etc. I only write slow, sensual, touching and stimulating sex, which I feel will get a lot more orgasms from a woman than pain will in my own opinion. Torture doesn't turn me on at all...it just sickens me. Women that I have loved are sensitive and special and I have treated them that way. Minor dominance is ok but to make a slave out of someone and treat them like shit has no place in erotic sex, in my own opinion. But there are those that write that way, as if the slave gets off from it...but what do I know?

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site?

Yes, I do read some of the other writer's stories. I like a few of them (Shuggie particularly) and have been inspired by a few others. However, I haven't had time to read a lot of other works. I have communicated with a few by email and with a few others that want to be authors. I would rather not mention too many because I have not had time to read as many as I would like to. It would be unfair to other good authors.

Q. That's a very distinctive photograph you have on your profile. What can you tell us about it?

I usually put a "really good" picture that relates to my latest published story, if possible. Many pictures come from the internet or from some private capture. That picture doesn't relate to me in any other way...it isn't me or my lover's incredible butt. This one is just a clean, hot, 'wet' pussy with a very inviting clean anal access. Q. Do you explore these feelings, positive and negative in your stories?

As far as homosexual negatives, I just avoid discussing or including it in my stories. Everyone to their own desires is my policy.

Q. How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

Sure...glad to. It sometimes takes me a couple of months or more. I write like a banshee when I get a good idea. I don't care how long the story is at that time, I just want to get the essence of the ideas on the computer. Then I go back and clean up the logistics so it makes sense. I edit it 4 or 5 or times cleaning as I read. Sometimes I change it significantly and have to go through the same process of editing again.

Then, when it sounds good and starts to turn-me-on, as I read it, I go to the next step. I play it back to myself 4 or 5 or more times with a text-to-voice software package that sounds like a real voice...not computer voice (AT&T package). I edit as I hear it audibly over a speaker system or on headphones (if my wife is around), until it sounds even better to me...not corny...not repetitive...etc.

There are several iterations of editing till I put it on line. Spell check is the hardest thing to get perfect because I occasionally get feedback that I misspelled something...but hell, by then I don't care. I'm not perfect and no one else is and no one is paying me for my stories anyway. I do write to please myself first, then my readers. They have to take me or leave me. Anyone who communicates with me with strong negative feedback, I suggest they not read my stuff...it isn't what they like.

Q. Right now, your most popular story is "Innocence Worth Waiting For." Do you agree that this is your best story? And why do you think it struck such a chord?

Yes, it is my favorite and best story. It is also one of my first stories. I have cleaned it up some as I have learned to write better. That story is almost 95% actual experience of one of my high school love affairs. Of course, I had to take ages of 18 for this site. It is pure innocent sex...the way I liked it and the way it should be. I think that is why it was so good. It is almost all true except for her "continuous orgasms." She was quick to orgasm but not continuously...but boy did she love to get laid...long and slow.

Also, I didn't marry that girl. She moved away and I lost contact with her on one of her family moves. I suspect she found someone that satisfied her needs and she lost interest in me. I have never lost interest in her though. She was an almost perfect woman. I loved her.
