WILL BUSTER INTERVIEW

It's been a few years since Will Buster was last interviewed here, so we begin by asking him to catch us up on everything he has done since he last sat down to talk with us.

Well, I've developed several new novels, most of them in the historic erotic genra. Many of these books are being published at a1adultebooks.com. This is where many of the authors from this site can get some epublishing done. Just go to my link above and join free. Then send in your novels or longer length short stories. I am working with a few others but there's still a ways to go with them. I will continue to submit new material from time to time.

Q: You answered some of these questions last time, but for the benefit of new readers, how and when did you begin writing erotic stories?

Answer: About 2004. I wrote for the now defunked Bondage Bookshelf and since then I've been writing for A1Ebooks and a few others.

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

www.a1adultebooks.com

Q. I'm sure readers have their own vision of who you are - how much of yourself do you include in your stories?

Answer: Some of my ideas and outlooks on human existence might be placed in some of my novels. However, I would say that my interest in history probably is the most obvious factor. Many of my novels are in different time periods including ancient Rome, Norman England and the Victorian period.

Q: Do you write other kinds of stories... ie - non erotic? If "yes", please tell us about them; if "no" please explain why not.

Answer: Currently, the only novels that I seem to be able to get published are erotic novels. In the real world of publishing, you have to be a world class crook/politician, movie star, sports hero or mass murderer to get an agent.

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

Answer: Thinking up new situations and character reactions to the world's oldest sport.

Q. What, if any, difficulties do you face when writing - erotic writing difficulties and general writing difficulties? And how do you overcome them?

Answer: Editing errors and redundancies. I use the spell checker of course but there is no substitute for going through the text four or five times.

Q. You mentioned before that most of your stories are based on fantasy. Is that still the case?

Anser: Yes, fantasy gives the author a great deal of poetic license and its been known to get a favored character out of some bad situations at times. Snicker.

Q. On that subject, is there anything you have written into a story that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

Answer: When it comes to many of the erotic situations, I would love to win some mega lottery and go to some town where nooky is easily purchasable. Being over 60 and going downhill at a relatively modest rate, only old hags would have serious interest in me and old biddies just aren't that stimulating. So picture me at poolside with two hot babes offering me every conceivable service to be replaced next day with two more new chicks. Variety is where it is at. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

Answer: Nobody close to me knows that I write in this genra.

Q. How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world"'s perception of erotic writing?

Answer: I don't particularly care what the world thinks. I believe in freedom of expression.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Without naming names, do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

Answer: I have found that I don't have time for extended correspondance. However, I have given advice from time to time. Most fans like my work but I have gotten some very critical messages if I write about something controversial, like racial matters as an example. So feed back is valuable.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

Answer: That depends. If the criticism is well founded and backed up with at least a hint of good reasons, I take it under advisement. However, I have no use for someone giving me a 1 because my formatting wasn't quite there or they didn't like my story.

Q. What categories do most of your stories appear in - and is there a particular reason for this?

Answer: All are in the straight section under several sub categories. I'm really not into gay or outer fringe stuff. I can write about a lot of different background settings but I just can't get into sexual areas that I have no experience in.

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?

Answer: I have responded to several. I like Shuggy and Elaine and Maggie2002. I know I've written to other authors but as I said, my time is limited.

Q. Have you ever been filmed or photographed having sex? Tell us about that.

Answer: No, never. I don't think I'd be very photogenic being about 60, very plain and too heavy around the middle. Sounds like fun if there was no blackmail involved.

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

Answer: Done two chicks at the same time.(They had to be paid.)

Q. Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

Answer: Does the sun rise in the East? I have too many to be listed here, however it would be great to have a lovely Roman villa and enough money to afford about a dozen sex slaves, ever ready, willing and able.

Q. What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Answer: Getting it.

Q. How about a major turn off?

Answer: Not getting it.

Q. Do you explore these feelings, positive and negative in your stories?

Answer: Sometimes. I try to get into the minds of the participants when ever possible.

Q. If somebody wanted to read just one of your stories, which one would you point them towards?

Answer: If they like history, The Edwin trilogy. Modern day probably Trilateral.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Answer: I just want to say that the fans on this site have been great. I know some of you wait religiously for my stories to come forth. I don't have as much time to write these days but I do have a few more novels in the works. I like to test them here to make sure they are of good quality. Again, thanks for your feedback.

Q. Finally, do you have a website or a blog, where your fans can visit and maybe learn more about you?

Answer: Just go to a1adultebooks.com and look for Will Buster.

Please read Will Buster's stories.
