Chapter 5

After awhile, the carcass of the Mustang became a smoldering hulk of metal, some parts were still showing a dull glow in the rapidly approaching darkness of the desert night. Brenda now wished that her chain were long enough to reach the wreck, just so she could warm herself against the quickly growing chill of the night.

Just as full darkness fell, Brenda saw, much to her relief, a set of headlights approaching. They were traveling fast! Rescue was at hand! The young blonde squealed with joy, dancing as well as her bonds would allow, screaming at the top of her lungs to gain the attention of the driver that could release her from this awful predicament! She didn't care that she was naked. She didn't care that her hands and ankles were bound, making her defenseless. She only knew that whomever was coming seemed to driving the same road as the evil driver of the Semi had left on. Brenda was even more overjoyed when, as the car came closer, she could see a rotating red light on it's dashboard! A cop! Maybe they had caught her captor and he had told them where she was!

The car slowed to a stop as it neared the burnt out hulk of the Mustang. Brenda could see a man step from the vehicle, flashlight in hand, to peruse the interior of the smoldering car body. "Hey, Over here!" Brenda yelled as loud as she could. The man froze, then the beam of the flashlight scanned the desert scrub for the source of the cry for help. ...
