SORORITY SISTERS

I was in my sophomore year at a college in New England when a girlfriend coaxed me into applying for memberhip in a sorority. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I was accepted and had to undergo a bizarre initiation. It was the most daring thing that I have ever done. I often wonder if that sorority house still uses the same initiation rites. I wouldn't think of giving the name of the college or the sorority, so you will just have to guess.

There were six of us girls being initiated into the sorority. We were all terrified because we had heard rumors about the hazing that had to be endured in order to become a sister. The thought of having to eat raw eggs and oysters while being paddled gave me nightmares for days before the initiation.

The big day arrived and we reported to the sorority house as ordered. We were immediately taken to the "torture chamber" in the basement and ordered to strip. The girl who was in charge of the initiation told us her name was Jennifer but that we should only address her as Mistress Jennifer. She directed us to stand respectfully at attention as the sorority members arrived.
