Jeff woke up the next morning, still laying on the floor, covered in a film of sweat. At first he had no recollection of what happened, just the vague haze of what he assumed was remnants of a dream. Jeff climbed up the stairs to take a shower and shave, just thankful that he wasn't late for his own wedding. When he stepped inside his bedroom however, the events of the evening before slammed into him hard. Stacy was spread out on the very bed where his bride would lay very shortly. His breath caught his throat and when he spoke, the words came out in a choked whispered.

"Get your clothes on and leave." He didn't pause after that, just moved onto the closet to grab his suit.

She smiled icily. "Baby, you can't go through with this wedding. You'll never be able to live with the guilt that you married her knowing you still loved me."

He turned sharply then. "That's where you're wrong. I don't love you. Cameron will never know of last night because you won't say a word to her and you will not harass her anymore. She hasn't done a damn thing to you except love me. Now collect your things and get the hell out!"
