Lisa Pulls a Switch

As much as Lisa liked Mr. Swayne, when he went out of town and she had the house to herself it was like a gift from heaven. A quick run-through every morning kept her ahead of the dust, then the rest of the day was hers. She lay on a deck chair in the high-fenced back yard in a tank suit, slathered in 8 SPF Coppertone. A trashy novel and a large glass of iced orange juice with 7-Up sat on the table beside her. Mr. Swayne was due in on the noon flight from Chicago the next day, so she savored her last golden hours of solitude.

She flipped through her novel to the dog-eared page where the muscular, long-haired hero rescues his haughty, blonde fiancŽe from the evil baron. He carries her across his shoulder from the flaming castle and they ride away on his black stallion. When she doesn't show proper gratitude for her rescue, he reins in the horse and climbs down. He pulls the shrieking girl over his knee and slaps her backside through her tattered silk gown with his big, strong hand before he kisses her so hard she swoons in ecstasy. ...
