We had been invited to my good co-worker [and friend]'s wedding. Having recently been married ourselves, we looked forward to getting out and rekindling the evening of our wedding in our thoughts. A week before the big event, I spent the better part of the day looking for the perfect outfit. I eventually settled on a classy shimmery pink dress, low neck, short sleeves and knee length hem, a pair of matching pink heels, and a set of pearls to highlight my neck and ears. A trip to Victoria's Secret secured a matching set of panties, stockings and garter belt. And while I was shopping, I even got a matching pink tie for my hubby to wear.

After the wedding, the wedding couple toured the city, hitting all the local bars. Since we were not part of the wedding party, we made a beeline to the reception place - the student union at the local university. We both were very familiar with the area, as we attended and met on that campus. It has lots of neat history, and is nestled next to a beautiful scenic lake, just perfect for early June. David, my husband, loves to amaze me with his knowledge of the campus and history behind the monuments, buildings, etc.

Since we arrived early, we went for a walk along the lakeshore, arm in arm like the summer we met. All sorts of memories came back as we walked... where we met, our first date, our first canoe ride together, ...
