Back in the present. Things changed a lot after that trip to Dallas. My relationship with Doyle, as can be expected, brightened intensely. My mother was suddenly interested in everything I did musically. And with school out, I was asked to perform at Jensen's on a bi-nightly basis. I'd yet to hear from Jessica, but I didn't really have time to think about that. When I wasn't performing, I was with Doyle. And any time I wasn't with Doyle, I was working on new music.
