Jack & Sarah I

Jack woke up in the morning, feeling sorry & miserable as soon as the alarm went off. That in itself was surprising. Usually he never needed the alarm to wake him up. He hardly ever managed to get sleep in the night. He had been this way for the past 18 months, ever since Sarah had left him to go to her parents. He never understood why. They had been married for just about a year before she left him. Those 11 months were the happiest period of his life. Even hers, if she was to be believed. But now he just didn't know what to believe. He got off his bed, went in for a bath. After that he drank a cup of coffee. Then he got ready to go to work, and just as he was about to leave the house he realised that it was a Sunday and he didn't have to go to work. Resignedly, he sat down, switched on his computer, and sat down to temporarily blank his memory by surfing the net. ...
