Elevating Perspective

Kendra moved away from the front desk knowing that the gangly teenage attendant was watching her. She had just come down to the lobby to tell the hotel management that the ice machine on her floor had been broken and empty, but she felt the trip was worth it to hear the boy stumble over his words as he tried to apologize. It felt good to have someone look at her like that.

Her body literally screamed, "round" and it bothered her, because it was hard to make it look good, she thought. She was by no means heavy, though, weighing only a hundred and fifteen pounds. A little makeup, a short pleated skirt, a shirt that was two or three sizes too small, not covering her midriff at all and barely containing her bust, put her in a solid position, if not perfect, as far as guys were concerned.
