God the final 10 minutes seemed to take forever. I don't know if it was the thought of finally getting out of here or the uncertainty of what was on the other side of the steel door. Or if there was anything for that matter, hell we could be in the middle of a two story pile of rubble. Cautiously I made my way to the top of the stairs and felt the door to make sure it wasn't hot. The door felt cool that was good it meant there wasn't a fire on the other side. Carefully I tried the knob and it turned but was difficult, as I tried to open it, it started to give then jammed. The door had been flexed so much it sprung and warped. It was going to take a hammer and screw driver to knock the pins out of the hinges if we were to get out.

I went down stairs and got what I needed from the supply room. When I returned to the door I had the help of two young detectives, single and god where they hot.
