As I lie on my side, facing the red brick wall, in my dorm room bed, I hear my door to my room open and close quietly. I didn't react to make him think I was sleeping. A cool draft hit my neck when he lifted the covers and slid into bed next to me, I smiled.

I could not believe that he was here to see me; I knew he was coming this weekend, but I did not think in the middle of the night.
