I was working in my office at an advertising agency in a large western city when the phone rang. The caller ID screen told me the call was from Vanessa, one of our copy writers down the hall. We had been working together recently on a major account and I expected she wanted to discuss some ad copy with me. "Are you alone?" she whispered. She sounded anxious and was breathing heavily. My pulse quickened as I waited for her response.
