When I was 22, and working a Store Manager for a local fast food restaurant, I realized I needed to get my own place, and move out of my parents home, or I wasn't ever going to make it on my own. So, I went looking for an apartment, and told some of my friends what I was after, 2 bedrooms, a nice-sized kitchen and a spacious front room. One of my friends told me about a mobile home they knew one of their other friends was selling, and told me to call him. I for one am not a big supporter of mobile homes, especially in the mid west, when a good wind or tornado could strike at any given time, and wipe away everything. I called Jim's friend and went to look at the trailer, ‘cause the apartment search wasn't going to good.

After I looked at the trailer, I fell in love with the place. It was located in a single-strip trailer court of about 40 trailers, along the river(I love to fish), and it had everything I was looking for, plus a bathroom to die for. The bathroom had a garden/hot tub in one corner, and a free standing shower in the other corner-(with clear glass doors), two sinks with a mirror that went on forever, and BRASS everywhere. The view from the bedroom window was awesome to say the least, it was a view looking out over the river, and the location of the trailer court was off the beaten path, so it was a very quiet place. I discussed the price with the owner, and we came to an agreement that 10 grand would make it mine I went to the bank, got the loan, and moved in 3 weeks later.
