He pulled into the gravel parking lot at Eddie's Porn Palace. The place was located well outside the city limits, down a winding county road in the piney woods two miles east of the Miracle Mile Racetrack.

He was there to do research for a story for a regional porn magazine. He'd been given a paltry advance, but he was intrigued enough about what he'd heard to come out on this early Saturday morning; it was 1 a.m.

He walked into the story and gravitated toward a rack of glossy porn magazines. He thumbed a few, looked behind the counter at the fat, grey-haired man that stood a leisurely watch over the merchandise. He stepped forward and sidled up to the glass counter, took a glance at the half-naked nun tattoo on the old mans arm and extended his hand.

"Hello, I'm Kevin Ward. I'm a writer. I'm here to see a, I believe her name is Donna."

The manager shook his hand but his face revealed nothing. He had a strong grip. He released Kevin and looked intently into his eyes for a minutes. "Donna's customers don't usually give me their resume."

The Reporter: "Uh, well, I'm not exactly a customer. I'm here about doing an interview." The Manager: "INN-terview," he said with great inflection. ...
