Flopping into her high back leather chair, Tina reached for the phone on her desk. "Hi Terri" she said in little more than a whisper as the speaker crackled and her PA came on the line, "any chance of a coffee, hun?". "Coming right up," said a perky New York accent. "Do you need sugar - you look kinda tired?". "You know I have to watch my figure" replied Tina, "but what the heck, yeah, a sugar and two cookies - today's really taken it out of me". Little did she want Terri to know that what she really meant was today someone had put it in her!

A minute later Tina's office door opened and in walked Terri with refreshments. Terri was 5'6", a beautiful slim built black woman with straightened hair, the merest hint of sophisticated make-up and a real sense of dressing to best effect. Her tailored 2 piece and cream blouse setting off the rich tone of her skin beautifully. "You poor thing," she said looking Tina straight in the eye, "what happened? I know you, you don't normally deviate an inch with your delivery, but I thought you were going to loose it near the end. Are you gettin' sick?" she asked with real concern on her face. Terri had worked with Tina long enough that she could speak her mind, and Tina knew she wasn't a threat to her coverted 'anchor' position. "No," said Tina, with a strange look coming over her face - "maybe one day I'll explain. Anyhow, lets get these scripts filed and then we can both get off: it's the early shift tomorrow, remember?"
