And then the rains came.

"Eeeeeekkkkkk." Stella woke with a start as the rain slanted into the protected area of the terrace. Rod Awakened by her surprised cry and her sudden movement was instantly awake and when he realized that it was pouring he scooped Stella into his arms and rushed her into the safety of the cabin. He placed her leaning in the corner as he retrieved the blanked and pillow from the deck. Standing by the door he held the wet items in his hands.

"I guess it is a little late to save the linens." He said holding them as they dripped on the floor. He moved to put them in a chair on the terrace where they could get to them later or have the maid take care of them in the morning while they were at breakfast. The warm rain wet his skin as the steady breeze forced it onto the terrace. Instead, Rod spread the wet blanket on the deck again and came into the cabin. "Looks like your hair is going to need drying again." Rod stated as he soothed the wet strands away from her face.

Rod picked Stella up again and she thought he was taking her to the bed. Instead he stepped back on the deck and Stella felt the warm rain washing over her body. She squinted her eyes against the driving drops of water. "You know I always did want to make love in the rain." Rod ...
