It was a cold winter's eve. The full moon shown coldly down, breaking the darkness just enough to bathe the landscape in it's eerie glow. She entered the dimly lit coffee house around 8 pm.

It was the usual crowd of college students and misfits. It was the night of the monthly poetry reading, so the place was nearly packed with pale, raven clad bodies.

Gina had arrived early enough to secure a table for herself out of the main throng of people. She prefered to sit aside and watch the others. She was definately not like the others in most senses. She just had an insatiable hunger for words.

She sipped her mug of hazelnut latte and watched the seemingly endless parade of poets rambling about oblivion and the grave. It was unimpressive drivel.

Suddenly the monotony was broken. Anastasia Hawk took the stage. She was unlike the others. Her words held a passion the others lacked. She was tall and shapely, piercing blue eyes and luxurious mahogany hair that famed her face. She wore little make up and a form fitting black slip dress but she stood out from all the others drastically.
