Chapter One

The buzzing from the alarm clock beat upon my brain, causing what seemed to be a literal pounding in my head. I reached my hand out, slamming it down on the snooze button and cut off the shrill scream. Turning around, I opened my eyes to a few rays of sunlight, which escaped the trap of my blinds.

My head throbbed, reminding me of the vodka which had swam in my stomach the night prior. The events of the night before played across my mind as I got out of the bed and padded to my adjacent bathroom, looking for something to stop the thrashing in my head.

The tenth shot of 5 O'clock had been the point in which my memory stopped taking notice and went to sleep. The last thing that I remembered was I and Aaron chillin' on the couch and watching South Park. We were cracking up at every little joke, the alcohol intensifying the humor of the show.
