Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Keith and I have been a mechanic for the past 18 years. I'm 38 years old and until very recently, I have been single.

Over the years I've had lukewarm luck with women. Relationships have come and go, as have casual sex. I'm a decent looking guy I suppose, around 6' 180 lbs, good shape. Generally my appearance gets neither compliments nor complaints.

Anyway, my story begins about 3 months ago. A buddy I work with named Jake had been "Dating" (and I use the word loosely) this girl named Annie for about 6 months. I had been in a bit of a dry spell, and was having a problem finding someone to take to an Allman Brother's concert I had tickets for. Jake suggested he hook me up with Annie's roommate Gina for the night.

According to Jake, Gina was a very attractive 25 year old with a great personality. Of course my bullshit meter immediately went up, thinking it too good to be true, but being somewhat desperate I agreed to give her a call.

The phone call could have gone smoother, but since Annie had vouched for me (and probably pressured a bit as well), Gina agreed to accompany me. We agreed that I would pick her up at 7 pm the day of the concert.
