My wife and I had decided that we wanted a change of scenary. We had began to look for a home that was in a location that was on the water. We found just what we were looking for in the Smokey Mountains. This was about 750 miles away and it was going to be a two day drive.

We rented a large truck for the move and I called my best friend Hank and asked him to help. I told him that we would take the truck if he would drive our second car for us. We were towing my wife's car with the rental truck. Hank agreed.

The move day came and Hank and I had loaded the truck during the week. Kathy had called ahead and got us adjoinging rooms about halfway to our destination. The drive was long and Hank stayed behind us the entire trip. We arrived at our hotel within ten minutes of what we had planned. We were all pretty happy about that.

When we got to the registration desk, the clerk told us that they had made a mistake and that there was only one room available. Our protests went unheard and so we decided to share the room since it had two double beds.
