Recently I discovered that my husband wrote a story describing how we started our relationship about 12 years ago! Of course, I was very angry with him. After all, I don't need everybody knowing about our "private" life together. Especially since I've done so many things I'm not particularly proud of. I didn't, and don't want what we've done in the past to interfere with our reputations in the community. We are a very respectable couple with 3 teenage daughters. I belong to the PTA, am a regular volunteer at the high school and my husband runs a local insurance agency.

To say that I was angry is probably an understatement. I was furious! I found out about it in an e-mail last week from one of the guys we had met up with in Tijuana. Apparently he recognized the story as one he had personally been involved with. Here's a copy:

"Robyn,

I can't believe it! If this is really you, and I got your last name right please let me know. I looked up your e-mail address on the internet. Hell - I even found your address and phone number! I'm no stalker, so don't worry about that. I was just kind of surprised to find so much information about you.

You probably won't remember me, but my name is Todd Johnson. We "met" about 12 years ago. I would never have ever dreamed I would find you ...
