Mike and I had just recently moved in together. We had been dating for a few years but because our families lived in different parts of the country, had never had a New Years together. I was looking forward to having a quiet night together, alone. Unfortunately, my job was stressing me out and I was worried about getting into graduate school. With all of this stress, it didn't look like I was going to be much fun on New Year's Eve.

I had to work New Year's Eve but Mike had the day off. I came home in a bad mood because of work and traffic. Mike usually keeps clear of me on these days but he said soon after I got home, "Fran, let's go work out at the gym. I think a good run will make you feel better." I agreed.

I ran my 2 miles and he did some strength training at the gym. He was right; it did make me feel better. We got home and I fixed a quick dinner of pasta while he jumped in the shower. After dinner, I decided I wanted to take a hot bath.

When I take baths, I get the water as hot as I can stand and fill the tub up as far as I dare without the water spilling over the sides. I shaved my short but shapely legs slowly and decided I should give my puss a good shave. I hate looking hairy down below. It just seems so dirty.
