The fact that my ex-wife was standing outside my door on a Friday night was one thing. That she was also naked was something else entirely.

"Andrea, what the hell are you doing...here?" I paused, asking her simultaneously two questions.

"We need to talk," she said simply. "You going to invite me in or not?"

"I don't think that's a very good idea at the moment," I replied, remembering that Maggie was still sitting inside my living room just around the corner. I knew she would be able to hear us, and was hoping she would somehow come to my rescue.

Lights from a car appeared just down the street heading this way. Andrea turned seeing them at the same time I did, and simply shrugged out of the coat she was wearing so that it fell down around her feet on the sidewalk leaving her standing there entirely naked.

"Andrea!" I yelled at her. But she merely turned back around to face me, smiling. ...
