Chapter 3

As 3 a.m.turned to 4, and 4 a.m. turned to 5, sunlight began filtering into Leann's bedroom along with the realization that she was as much jealous of her daughter as she was mad. And that was really saying something! As the booze began to wear off, the hint of a massive headache began filling her head as well, at 3 minutes to to 6 she finally fell asleep.

The sharp and droning sound of the telephone beside the bed slammed repeatedly into Leann's pounding head, waking her up abruptly. It was 11:05 a.m.. As she slowly reached for the receiver, the ringing suddenly stopped, causing her to let out a low painful moan.

"UUUGHH Fuck," she groaned as she tossed the covers off her head.

When her right hand hit the empty mattress beside her, she raised her head slowly to see if in fact the guy she had brought home last night was gone. Back when she was single the first time, a guy leaving without so much as a goodbye would have pissed her off to no end, but in her present frame of mind, she was thankful he was gone. Now Leann was left with a massive hangover, and a great deal of contemplation about how to deal with her daughter's new found hobby. She realized that today would be taken up with dealing with both albatrosses those weighing her down.
