Where I work, come Christmas time, there is hardly anyone at the office. This past season my boss was enjoying the lucid skies and balmy breezes of the Bahamas. My two office mates had similarly elected to spend Christmas week away from the office.

That left me alone in my cubicle, with only a couple of accountants down the hall and maybe an IT guy attending the servers somewhere in the basement.
