Ellen had moved in with Cal, and she was one happy woman. Never mind that the fellow was just 23 and she was 35. He was smart and mature with a world of experience in many ways, and the simple fact was that she was crazy about him. What else mattered really? As to their proposed joint business venture, that was important to a lesser degree, but she was in it only because of Cal and her need to be close to him.

They had been waiting for awhile to get an agreement with a premium cable channel to broadcast Cal's proposed new reality show. It was going to be the hottest thing that had ever hit television. The idea was to seduce women into having sex in front of concealed cameras, then pay them well for a release to show the portions that could be presented on premium cable. It was tawdry perhaps, but hey, anyone who had watched the reality shows that were being broadcast knew that they didn't have to be classy to succeed. In fact, the sleazier the better. This would just be pushing the envelope a bit further. The hang-up was the price for broadcast rights.
