Our Second Date

We pulled onto the road that lead to the private lake. As we were winding and turning along the road, she asked me where were we going. I told her that it was a surprise. She just smiled and went back to enjoying the surroundings. She knew that tonight was going to be special for us. I was taking her to a private lake that was separated from a much larger one. It was a private community, one that I belonged to. Today is the Fourth of July. And the Lake's Association was going to be setting off fireworks at dusk. I found this little lake, or maybe I should call it a pond, by accident. I was going to give her a night that we would remember for a long time. I told her that I had found this pond one day while I was mushroom hunting. I don't think many people know about it, so we should be able to enjoy the fireworks by ourselves. We have been close to getting caught several times, but that always added to the excitement. I asked her if this was going to be ok for her.
