I walked up the steps of the Victorian house, It had only taken me a few minutes to get here. Seemed I didn't live to far from the Roland residence. It been a week since I had posted the add in the post office. I really did need the money, I thought babysitting would help bring in the extra cash. I worked already as a cashier but with the rate of salaries these days, I needed more, if I was going to meet rent, I had just turned nineteen, and I had been living on my own for over six months, but money was tight, and I had never extra cash, to do anything particularly interesting.

Mr. Roland had called me, insisting to interview me before hand, to help him make his decision whether he should hire me as their babysitter. So there I was walking up his stairs. The door flew open, he was expecting me. He was about thirty-five or so, he was tall, I'd say about 6 foot, blue eyes, and dark hair. He seemed in good shape.
