It had just been an ordinary day. Another day of nobody knowing I was alive. The final bell rang and I was more then happy to get out of school for the day. No one even noticed I was there. The guys barely talk to me and the girls ignore me completely.

OK, perhaps that's an exaggeration. They do on occasion allow me to take their picture. My camera is my life. A Leica, no less. I take pictures of anything that suits my fancy. Scenery, objects, people.

After I left the school I headed for the park near my house. There's usually something good to snap there. It was a cloudy day. By the time I got to the park, it was raining. I took shelter under tree, when lightning started to flash. I took out my camera to get some shots. Then, there was a bright flash in front of me and then everything went dark.

"Hey buddy, you all right?" a voice asked.

I felt strange, I struggled to reply.

"Yes, what...happened?"

Finally, my vision cleared. There was a man standing over me. The rain had stopped.
