Today started again as usual.

I love my job. I do inspections of homes for potential buyers after the put in a contract to purchase the house. Most of my referrals come from the real estate agent that is representing the client for purchase. Many times the agent may give the client a few different names of inspectors to call and make the choice themselves to prevent possible liability. In this case the young lady that called my office wanted to interview me over the phone to find out my credentials for doing my job. I went on with the usual rundown of my training and what it is that we inspect. I get this often enough that it sometimes just flows out of my mouth without even thinking.

This particular lady really gave me the third degree in interviews but seemed to be impressed with what I told her and asked if she can schedule an appointment with me tomorrow. Just so happened that I got a cancelled appointment for the afternoon and said I would fill her in the time slot. She indicated that she would be glad to be filled in! I thought to myself....
