I admit it...I love football. I love watching every possible game on Sunday afternoon, not to mention Sunday night and who in their right mind misses football on Monday night. Of course, as I later found out, my beautiful wife Tina was not as amused with watching football as me.

Especially when it meant that there would be basically no weekend chores done from Sept.-January. Not to mention I suppose I had somewhat neglected her in the bedroom as well.

Well, my beautiful bride had a trick planned for me that I will never forget.

I had gotten home from work late one Saturday night and she mentioned that there was a game on. "Holy cow, I forgot the undefeated Philadelphia team was playing in Minnesota. Poor Minnesota had been decimated with injuries and they were probably going to get beat by 40 points. Needless to say I was shocked when my wife casually commented, "I say Minnesota wins this game". The bait was set and I was like a big bass getting ready to be reeled in. "No way Hun" but I do think it's cute that you like their purple helmets.

"Seriously, I say they win, if you want to bet, let's bet, otherwise let's just watch the game and order some pizza"
