While we had been making the most of our time together we wouldn't survive much longer without getting some sort of dinner. We get dressed, reluctantly, though it will be such pleasure to take them off again later, and head out into town. There's a great little French restaurant I know, that will be perfect. Our recent interlude in the shower has taken the edge off our passions and we are able to enjoy the dinner and catch up on what's been going on in each others lives. I'm engaged to be married and you seem to have found an amazing guy for you. We agree that we are so lucky to have found our perfect partners, and still enjoy one last weekend fling with the greatest lover from our past. Of course there is complete agreement that we were each others best.

Dinner is wonderful, talking about the times we shared so long ago, people we worked with and what they are up to now, feelings of what if, and what could have been were bound to turn up inside us. Gazing into one another's eyes across the table we could be out for dinner in Columbus, time having stood still since then. We walk hand in hand after dinner through the town, enjoying the warm summer evening much like we did on that island where it all began. Window shopping arm in arm we slowly make our way back to the hotel, not with the urgency of before, but with a pleasant anticipation wrapped around us like a warm blanket.
