"You look pretty excited Christy. Is this about the party?" asked Melissa.

"Yeah. I don't know why but I'm really looking forward to it." I replied.

"I'll see you there then." Mel said as she walked out of the office done for the day.

I didn't lie. I am really looking forward to the party tonight. And I'm not sure why. This is technically a work party I'm going to. The difference between this one and other work-parties is that tonight's is being thrown by the Wilson's, the owners of the insurance agency I work at. Erica and Matt Wilson are in their late 40s, maybe early 50s and are terrific people to work for. I'm an sales rep here at the agency. Melissa is a secretary. But we are both in our late 20s, have a lot of similar interests, and thus spend a lot of time chatting at work. She has been to parties at the Wilsons home before, whereas I have not.

As I watch the clock tick slowly toward 5pm I retrieve the party invitation from the desk drawer. I look it over for about the five-hundredth time this week:
