It was a hot, hot evening, and Anna's tank top clung to her as she began to sweat.

They were walking along, hand in hand, her and Darren. Tonight they were headed to a local festival...Anna's favorite festival to be exact. It had a history of being a "hippie" gathering. Although most of the booths held beautiful artwork, it was not uncommon to see many political booths featuring pro-choice, anti-war, and pro-hemp slogans. It was also VERY common to see many topless women, as women going topless were not against the law in Anna's city. You'd never know from looking at Anna's straight-laced exterior that she was a true hippie at heart. And though she wasn't topless herself, or passed out under a hookah like some of her festival friends, she had a streak of wild side in her as well.

They walked slowly up and down the city streets pausing frequently to look at the different booths. It drove Darren nuts, but Anna loved to look at every little trinket and picture. She was drawn to the people almost more than the artwork itself, and it was not uncommon for her to talk to an artist or booth owner for a long amount of time. Anna's uncommon ease with people made it easy for her to talk to them. For this reason, every time she was out in public, she would run into at least one person she knew.
