So I'm going to the movies by myself, not really sure what to see, but I'm just in the mood to be in the theater and watch something...anything. I'm feeling a bit lonely and more than a little hot under the collar.

The movies are always slow on Tuesday night, but especially this theater. They are only showing second run movies and a couple of B&W classics. They are showing one that I've seen a dozen times and I guess I might as well go for lucky 13. When I'm buying my ticket, I notice you dreamily gazing at the posters on the wall.

I walk up next to you and make a little small talk about old movies and Hitchcock...while we're talking, our eyes meet and we hold that gaze for a second. Then while you're still looking at me, I purposely let my eyes drift down the length of you and back up. I see a bit of a naughty smile curl around the edge of your lips.

I excuse myself to the counter to buy some popcorn and out of the corner of my eye, I see you watching me. When I look back over toward you, you point to the door of the last theater and raise an eyebrow with a smirk. I smile and nod knowingly, and then you walk in.

When I enter, the room is pitch black, but after a few steps the films starts and the whole theater is cast in a blue light. On screen a train's whistle blows and I see that the seats are all empty, save for ...
