Mandi woke promptly at 6AM, just as she did each day of school. She enjoyed the silence of a day just beginning, that short stretch of time before the world came alive. She felt that was her time to get a clear view of what the day ahead held. These were the moments when her mind was the clearest. For Mandi that had to be her most productive times as well.

Taking great care so as not to wake her husband, she dressed in their semi-dark bedroom as quickly as possible. She had alot to think about and she didn't want any interruptions as she sipped her morning coffee.

He did the Atlanta/New York run. That left very little time off of work for Jack. Now after almost 5 years of such a hectic schedule, Mandi wanted him to work less hours. She was working as an elementary school teacher, and they had been building their savings up and had done so rather nicely since Jack had been working such long hours.
