A long time ago there was a princess who lived in her castle with only her handmaidens as company. Many men had come and gone, they all wanted to marry this mysterious princess but she would not.

Her name was Eiriana, she was tall and slim and very pretty. She was the Daughter of King Parry of Wigand, when he died she was next in line to throne but wouldn't use the title Queen. Saoirse was her handmaiden and attended to eiriana's every need. Saoirse was also very beautiful and got a lot of attention but she would never leave Eiriana.

One night after supper Saoirse had got a bath ready for Eiriana she looked around her and wished that she had been born into this wealth and life of pureness. As she picked up some of the silks from around the room she held one to her face, it smelt just like the princess.

"You can have that if you want Saoirse I no longer require or want it "said Eiriana Saoirse was shocked she hadn't heard Eiriana come in.

"No Madam I was just looking, your bath is ready "Saoirse stammered.

Eiriana took the silk and placed it round Saoirse's neck "See it looks better on you anyway, take it "she whispered
