The Transcript

Just a little short that occurred to me as a little prologue to a future story. A seemingly innocent office worker overhears something she shouldn't. FFM, some spanking.

This was the part of the job Charlotte hated.

She supposed she couldn't expect much better. In fact, considering that we just a college student working on the representative's campaign, she should consider herself privileged that she wasn't out on sign-planting duty. But still, could there be a more boring job than this?

The campaign headquarters for the southwestern part of the state had been given a toy by a contributor. It was the latest and greatest in computer dictation technology. In principle, someone would just speak into a headset and the computer would transcribe what they said. And the chairwoman loved to dictate. Minutes of meetings. New ideas for strategies. She seemed to think that every though in her head was worth committing to silicon.

But like most computer dictaphones, the thing didn't work perfectly. It worked well but would occasionally come up with embarrassing spelling. ...
