The email arrived on Thursday afternoon, just as it was getting dark outside. Colin looked up, distracted from his calculations and gazed at the unfamiliar name on his screen. He was annoyed at the interruption.

Impatiently, he stabbed his keyboard, eager to read whatever nonsense someone had sent him and get back to his work before losing his thread. His finger, poised over the button that would consign the email to oblivion, paused, then retreated back into his lap. This was interesting.

With his brow now furrowed in concentration, he re-read the email. "Hi Gorgeous. How are you doing?" It was signed "An admirer".

Intrigued, and with the first semblance of naughtiness coursing through his veins, Colin tapped in a non-committal reply.

Minutes later, just as he was about to give up and restart his work, a second message flashed up on his screen. Eagerly opening it, he read it twice, unsure what it meant. "The only thing that keeps me going is chocolate cake and sex. Kerry xxx".

With a mischievous smile, Colin typed a reply to the named, but still unknown teaser. "is that ‘chocolate', ‘cake' and ‘sex', or ‘chocolate-cake' and ‘sex'?"
