After a long day at work, all she wanted to do was take a bath and go to bed. Beth began undressing the moment she closed the door behind her. Running the hot water, she leaned back, sighed deeply, and hoped tomorrow would be less stressful. With one hand she massaged the side of her neck and with the other she loosely tied up her hair. The cat came in and rubbed up against her leg. She walked over to the stereo, completely naked now, and put on some classical music.

Back in the bathroom, she dipped a toe in and felt it was just right - she liked it almost scalding hot. Beth gasped as she put one foot in and had to wait a few moments for her leg to adjust to the temperature. Slowly, she brought the other leg in, and even more slowly she kneeled down and breathed in sharply, savoring the heat. Perched up on the sink, the cat watched as she leaned back and closed her eyes.

Her relaxation was short-lived however, when a moment later the doorbell rang. She thought about not answering it at all. But the music and the hallway lights were dead giveaways - they must know someone was home. She stood up and toweled off quickly, grabbing her while bathrobe and, still dripping a little bit, answered the door.

"Sorry to bother you - I can see you were busy." This stranger looked her up and down completely, starting at her chest peeking out from her half-open bathrobe. He looked like he had had a few drinks, but seemed pretty harmless. And he was disarmingly handsome. "I just moved in ...
