Being Neighborly

Around 2:00 pm I Went out to pull the sheets down off the clothesline, and found Rick, Becky and Sandy all swimming in the pool. Rick hollered hey to me, and I said hey back. He told me I was more than welcome to come over and join them, and I told them I'd be over in a little while, as I had a couple of things to finish up on the housework.

I went back into the house and fiddle-farted around for about half an hour, and slid on a pair of swim trunks. There was no way I was going to be skinny-dipping in broad daylight, where the other neighbors could see. I walked over to their house and up the driveway and could hear them laughing at something in the back yard, so I just went on up the driveway and let myself into the backyard.

Rick and Sandy were still in the pool, and Becky was in her bathing suit, standing at the grill. She had just lit it, and was about to make some hamburgers and asked if I wanted one or two. I held up an index finger, and she told me one it is then. Rick told me to jump on in, the water was great, and so I did.

I came up out of the water and Rick and Sandy swam closer, as I sighed that he was right the water felt great. They both agreed, and we started talking for a little while. Rick had told Sandy about my offer ...
