Chapter 1

The burglar stood in the closet hiding from Mira. If she came to the closet he would have to rush, and he didn't want that. He wanted to take his time, watch her, stalk her, make her fearful, make her think there was someone always behind her. When the time is right, then and only then would he pounce. Rick was wearing all black and he blended in well with all the black outfits Mira had in her closet, he might even be able to stand in the back and not be seen if she opened the double doors.
