Crossing The Line

Scott had just returned to school to begin his sophomore year in college. It was going to be a very different year for him and he might not have gone back if he knew what lie in store for him. Scott was from Northern California where he lived with his parents and a younger sister and brother. He was three years older than his sister and five years older than his brother. Scott was a handsome young man. He had never had a problem with girls in high school. In fact, he lost his virginity to one of the hottest cheerleaders when he was sixteen. He had light brown hair, green eyes, and a muscular build. He was an above average student and was well liked by his friends.

So, what was wrong with Scott? Well, it was something handed down from his father. See, his father served in Vietnam and had been held in a North Vietnamese prisoner of war camp for four months. He was one of the lucky few who had managed to escape his captivity, but the harsh experience had left a deep scar. He despised Orientals, any oriental, not just Vietnamese. As Scott grew up, his father frequently made horrible, racist comments about oriental drivers, Orientals he was forced to work with, and those seen on TV. Consequently, Scott inherited this racist attitude.
